A porn star was found dead in her home mere days after tweeting about spending the holidays by herself, adding to the string of deaths in the industry over the past two months. Concerns are being raised over the health of vulnerable women who work in the porn industry. Fears are being raised over the deaths of five female porn stars in recent weeks, at least two of whom are thought to have taken their own lives. Shyla Stylez and August Ames were both found dead within the last few weeks, and on December 15 it was reported that adult entertainment star Yuri Luv's lifeless body was discovered by her landlord at home.
